Two parcels were donated by Carola W. Wormser in 1979 (7.7 and 6.0 acres). This was followed in 1993 by the largest donation received by the Bethel Land Trust to date: a 60.9 acre parcel from The Nature Conservancy. In 1995 an adjoining 3.4 acre parcel was purchased from the Norwalk Savings Society.
