Take good care.
Enjoying Bethel’s beautiful nature preserves comes with a small price: appreciating the land as our own and doing our part to protect its native habitat for future generations.
Bethel preserves are open from dawn to dusk. When you visit a preserve, take care to follow these guidelines:
|
- Keep dogs on a leash and children within viewing distance.
- See a piece of litter? Kindly pick it up and properly dispose of it at your next opportunity. A fallen branch in your path? Throw it off the trail for the next hiker.
- Remember that hunting, trapping, camping, cutting trees and building fires are prohibited.
- Let us know if you see signs of vandalism or individuals misusing the preserves.
- Tell us about your visit using the available visitor sheets or on Facebook @bethellandtrust. Your comments help guide us in caring for the properties and contribute to visitor counts that help us maintain our nonprofit status and apply for grants. We may also share your comments to help promote these special places.
- Bring a friend or family member and visit often to catch the changing seasons!
